Part-Time Evening & Saturday Receptionist

Shaganappi GM is seeking an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Receptionist to join our growing team.

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional dealership experience. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, communicates clearly and confidently, and thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

- Two to three weekday evening shifts per week, Monday through Friday
- Monday to Thursday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday evenings from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Every second Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional weekday daytime availability is required to provide reception coverage during vacation, personal days, or other absences
- Applicants must be flexible and available for the required evening shifts, rotating Saturday schedule, and occasional daytime coverage

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and visitors in a warm, cheerful and professional manner
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Direct calls and customer inquiries to the appropriate department or team member
- Follow the dealership’s sales rotation process accurately and consistently
- Take and relay clear, accurate messages
- Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, photocopying and data entry
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support communication between departments as required
- Protect the confidentiality of customer, employee, and dealership information
- Provide exceptional customer service in a busy dealership setting




- Complete other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Previous reception, customer service, or administrative experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills and professional telephone etiquette
- Strong English communication skills required to confidently assist customers in person and over the telephone
- A cheerful, positive and customer-focused attitude
- Genuine enjoyment of meeting and assisting customers
- Dependable, punctual and committed to scheduled shifts
- Comfortable multitasking and managing frequent interruptions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer and administrative skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and helpful in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently during evening and Saturday shifts
- Must be available to work two to three weekday evening shifts and every second Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Must have some flexibility to provide occasional weekday daytime coverage for vacation, personal days, or other absences
