We’re a family-owned furniture and design store on 124 Street. Saturday is our busiest day. Our design guides are with customers on the floor, and we need someone in the office keeping things running and looking after customers so nothing falls through the cracks.

This is a scaled-down version of our office administrator role — the customer and product side of it, without the accounting. You won’t be on the floor selling, but you’ll talk with customers every shift, and you’ll get to know our product lines well. We’ll train you on our systems, and there’s a team around you to answer questions.

What you’ll do

- Write up sales in our point-of-sale system (Profit Systems) accurately.
- Help customers with questions about their orders, in person and on the phone.
- Call customers to schedule deliveries, and check with suppliers on order status.
- Update product details in our system and on our website (Shopify).
- Print price tags and make signs for the showroom.
- Pull discontinued fabric samples from our sample books. This means some standing, reaching, and light lifting.
- Other small office jobs as they come up.

- You have an eye for interior design and enjoy working surrounded by beautiful things.
- You like learning about products — fabrics, finishes,



how things are made, and what makes one piece better than another.
- People enjoy talking with you, and you enjoy helping them.
- You want steady part time hours with weekday flexibility.
- You’re careful with details — you notice when a number or a product code doesn’t look right.
- You’re comfortable on a computer and willing to learn new software.
- You like a calm, attractive place to work and a small team where people know each other.

This probably isn’t the job for you if

- You can’t commit to every Saturday. This is the one part of the schedule we can’t flex.
- You’re looking for full-time hours or remote work.
- You want a sales job with commission.
- You want a heads-down desk job with little customer contact.
- You need someone to tell you what to do next. Once you’re trained, we’ll trust you to keep things moving.

Nice to have, not required

- Retail, reception, or office experience.
- Experience with a point-of-sale system, Shopify, or a CRM.
- Design training or experience in home décor, furniture, or fabrics.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
