Fifth Avenue Volkswagen, part of G3 Auto Group, is looking for a reliable, organized Parts Department Associate to join our team.

This is a hands-on role that supports the day-to-day flow of our Parts and Service Departments through shipping and receiving, inventory organization, order preparation and local parts deliveries.

You don’t need previous automotive parts experience to get started. If you have experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, inventory, delivery or another fast-paced environment and are interested in building a career in automotive, we’ll help you learn the rest.

For the right person, this is more than a warehouse position. It’s an opportunity to learn the automotive parts trade from an experienced dealership team, receive manufacturer training, and build toward more advanced opportunities within the Parts Department.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work closely with our Parts team to make sure the right parts are received, organized and available when our technicians and customers need them.

- Receive incoming parts orders and verify shipments for accuracy, quantity and condition
- Organize, label and stock parts inventory in the appropriate locations
- Pick and prepare parts and outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
- Load, unload and distribute parts throughout the dealership as required
- Drive the dealership’s parts delivery van for local deliveries and pickups
- Track parts shipments, deliveries, returns and related documentation
- Assist with special-order parts to ensure they are received, identified and handled accurately
- Help maintain accurate and organized parts inventory
- Keep warehouse, receiving and delivery areas clean, safe and organized
- Work closely with Parts Advisors,



Service team members and other dealership departments to keep parts moving efficiently
- Learn dealership parts systems, processes and Volkswagen product knowledge
- Participate in manufacturer training and development as you build your knowledge of the automotive parts trade
- Take on additional Parts Department responsibilities as your skills and experience develop

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized and willing to learn. Automotive experience is an asset, but attitude, reliability and attention to detail are more important for this role.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently when required
- Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
- Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s licence with a driving record acceptable for the position
- Comfortable driving a delivery van and completing local deliveries
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn dealership inventory systems
- Previous shipping/receiving, warehouse, inventory or delivery experience is considered an asset
- Previous automotive or parts experience is considered an asset, but is not required
- An interest in learning and developing a career in automotive parts
