Personal Support Worker (PSW) — Post-Operative Recovery Care

Location: Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto and Brampton

Schedule: Approximately 33.75 hours per week during a confirmed client assignment

Elite Concierge Nurses Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable Personal Support Workers for upcoming short-term client assignments. We expect shifts to become available in the coming weeks and will contact suitable applicants as assignments are confirmed.

We support clients recovering from surgery in their homes, hotels, or other suitable private accommodations. Our recovery plans commonly run for 4, 7, or 14 days. PSW care follows a personalized care plan with RN clinical assessment and oversight.

Responsibilities

- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and other daily activities.
- Help clients settle comfortably and follow their recovery routines.
- Observe and promptly report any changes or concerns to the supervising RN.
- Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and the care team.




- Document the care provided according to Elite’s procedures.

Requirements

- Personal Support Worker certificate from a recognized program.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- A completed Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) for employment.
- Professional references.
- Solid communication skills, sound judgment, and a calm, professional manner.
- Ability to travel to client assignments across the GTA.

Experience in post-operative recovery or home care is an asset. PSWs work within their role and follow the individualized care plan and RN direction. Hours depend on confirmed client assignments and are not guaranteed between assignments.
