Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions and medical orders.

Manage inventory levels by receiving, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies to ensure availability and proper storage.

Provide excellent patient care by answering questions about medications, explaining usage instructions, and offering guidance on over-the-counter products.

Maintain accurate records of medication transactions, stock movements, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance or billing information.





Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and medication administration protocols to promote safety and accuracy.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication regarding patient prescriptions and medication management.

Skills

Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is highly desirable.

Experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role provides valuable insight into medication handling and pharmacy operations.

Strong understanding of medical terminology enhances communication with healthcare providers and patients.

Excellent patient care skills include empathy, clear communication, and the ability to explain complex information simply.

Knowledge of medication administration procedures ensures safe handling and dispensing of pharmaceuticals.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is advantageous for seamless workflow management.
