Duties

- Supervise daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and inventory management in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements
- Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel to promote professional growth and teamwork
- Collaborate closely with medical teams to optimize medication therapy plans, ensuring safe and effective patient care
- Oversee medication administration processes, verifying prescriptions and ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards
- Maintain rigorous documentation for all medication transactions, patient records, and regulatory audits




- Implement protocols for pediatric and acute care medication management to meet specialized patient needs
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies related to patient safety, infection control, and medication storage

Requirements

- Proven experience in hospital pharmacy settings with a strong background in acute care environments
- Prior experience managing pharmacy teams within healthcare facilities, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and hospital protocols
- Familiarity with pediatric pharmacy practices and patient-centered care approaches
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical services in healthcare settings
- Certification as a licensed pharmacist in good standing; additional certifications in hospital or pediatric pharmacy are a plus
