Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant at Vascular Health Bronte, a community vascular surgery clinic, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will collaborate closely with our 3 vascular surgeons and office staff.

Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations using medical terminology and clinical judgment.
- Assist physicians with diagnosis and treatment planning for vascular diseases.
- Manage electronic health records using Accuro EMR to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Perform procedures such sclerotherapy and wound care while adhering to safety protocols.
- Help run LEADER-PAD trial at our site.
- Triage referrals
- Support patient care activities by providing education, counseling, and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Measure and order compression stockings.
- Help with some office management including ordering stock and liaising with vendors

Skills

- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (AccuroEMR).




- Experience working with populations with vascular conditions.
- Certified compression stocking fittter (we can provide training).
- Skilled in sclerotherapy (we can provide supervised training).
- Familiarity with research methodologies and medical office operations.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with our team and educate patients.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and maintain meticulous records while managing multiple priorities.
