Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Podiatrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

- Conduct comprehensive foot and ankle examinations, utilizing medical terminology accurately to document findings
- Diagnose and treat various podiatric conditions such as infections, deformities, injuries, and chronic ailments
- Administer medications responsibly, including pain management therapies and topical treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using electronic health record systems like Epic and Cerner for seamless patient data collection and management
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary, adhering to strict safety protocols and best practices
- Provide patient education on foot health, injury prevention, and post-treatment care plans




- Participate in research initiatives to stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine and contribute to evidence-based practices

Requirements

- Valid state licensure as a Podiatrist with active certification to practice medicine in relevant settings
- Hospital experience demonstrating familiarity with acute care environments and emergency procedures
- Experience in pain management techniques specific to foot and ankle conditions
- Background in pediatrics for treating pediatric patients with foot-related issues
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and clinical documentation standards
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner for effective data collection and patient tracking
- Experience in home care settings is preferred, showcasing adaptability across diverse patient environments
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to individual needs
