Academy, Winchester, KY, is a Catholic PreK-8th grade school. We are looking for a full-time teacher in our preschool classroom.

Duties



- Stimulates emotional, intellectual, and social growth of students by implementing educational programs and activities tailored to assigned class.


- Provides safe environment by maintaining orderly, clean, and appealing facilities; following standards and procedures; complying with legal recommendations.


- Encourages development of student self-control by utilizing classroom management and modeling techniques.


- Assists students in lunch room.


- Ensures continuous care of children as lead teacher

Qualifications

- Experience working with students in educational or childcare settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.




- Ability to supervise and work with young students in the classroom or at play
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others succeed.
- Robust communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all individuals
- High School diploma is required
- ETRIS certification a must.
- CMG Connect certification and background check approved.
