Duties

- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in preschool-aged children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and curiosity
- Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or assistance with disabilities
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a team-oriented approach to each child's growth
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavioral observations using computer-based systems
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including transitions, activities, and mealtime supervision
- Lead engaging activities that develop language skills in English and French for bilingual learners

Requirements





- Proven experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable to support diverse student populations
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation efficiently
- Familiarity with computer operation and basic software applications for record keeping and communication purposes
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while fostering a positive learning environment
- Relevant certifications in childcare or early childhood education are advantageous
