Waverley Heights Child Care Inc. is seeking an experienced ECE II Supervisor to help lead our preschool and school-age programs. This is a hands-on position, with approximately 60% of the time spent working directly with children and staff on the floor and 40% on office and administrative duties.

The Supervisor will support educators in delivering secure, engaging programs; guide day-to-day operations; assist with staffing and scheduling; and act as Director when the Executive Director is absent.

Key Responsibilities

- Work directly with children and support staff across the centre’s programs.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and supervision to educators.
- Help maintain safe supervision, licensing compliance, and consistent daily routines.
- Prepare staff schedules and adjust coverage as the centre’s needs change.
- Assist with enrolment records, Fastoche, ELCC documentation, and ISP grant requirements.
- Support basic bookkeeping and other administrative tasks.
- Communicate professionally with families, staff, and community partners.
- Respond to operational issues and act as Director when required.

The Ideal Candidate Is An ECE II with 3–4 years of supervisory experience who is organized,



dependable, and comfortable balancing time on the floor with administrative work. They communicate clearly, support their team, use good judgment, and can adapt their hours when the centre’s needs change. Experience with Fastoche, scheduling, ELCC documentation, ISP grants, and basic bookkeeping is an asset.

Compensation And Benefits

- Wages based on the MCCA 2026–27 salary scale
