Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist with 5+ years of experience to support the development of a modern digital information system and its integration with internal and external applications.

This is an onsite position, working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday inclusive, excluding breaks, unless otherwise identified.

Scope

- Support the development and testing of a modern digital information system and its integration with internal and external applications.
- Apply Senior Systems Testing/QA expertise throughout the assignment.

Assignment Deliverables

- Prepare appropriate-level test cases for functional/unit testing.
- Perform functional/unit testing and document results.
- Assist other parties/groups with their related testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in knowledge transfer.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

Quality Assurance Skills

- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change requests and communicate their status to all project participants.
- Demonstrated experience developing test plans, test scripts, and test data, documenting software defects, and tracking resolutions.
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions.
- Valuable analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills





- Hands-on experience with technologies such as SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge and experience using automated testing tools and version control systems on one or more platforms.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience across all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
- Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing activities using issue-tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, and Asana.

Resume Evaluation Criteria QA Skills - 40 Points

- Demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool to manage defects and change requests and communicate status to all project participants.

Technical Skills - 30 Points

- Demonstrated experience documenting and tracking testing using issue-tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, and Asana.

Business Skills - 25 Points

- Demonstrated experience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and completion of change request management activities.

Public Sector Experience - 5 Points

- Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations.

Knowledge Transfer What Needs to Be Transferred





- Code and documentation of all types assigned to this role.

Assignment Details
