As a Warehouse Receiver at IMS, you are responsible for the efficient and accurate receiving of material to the warehouse and for contributing to the overall positive customer experience at Independent Mechanical Supply.
Cores Responsibilities
- Accurate and efficient detailing and receiving of inbound material, re-stocking, and putting away of material
- Loading and unloading delivery and courier vehicles (as required)
- Quick turn-around of receipt to order fill in the morning and afternoon
- Working in co-ordination with quotations/shipping on job releases, including but not limited to non-stock goods being held pending release dates
- Error/change handling with vendors and product line buyers
- Assisting other departments as required including but not limited to: Counter, Shipping, Driving, and Sales Teams
- Maintaining a professional,
respectful and collaborative attitude towards customers and co-workers
- Maintaining a neat and clean work area
- Compliance with all government and warehouse regulations, policies, procedures and rules (H&S;, Operations, etc.)

Mandatory Requirements
- Years of Experience: 1+ Experience working in a warehouse workplace
- Education: High School diploma
- Hardware/Equipment Experience: Experience as a licensed counterbalance forklift operator; Experience using manual material handling equipment is an asset (e.g. hand trucks/pump trucks);
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to work one half Saturday every month (in addition to your regular Monday to Friday schedule)

- Experience with Microsoft Office 365
