We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice.

Office hours are Monday - Wednesday 8 am - 4 pm , Thursday 11 am - 7 pm, and Closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Duties

- Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling, polishing and fluoride application
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Write clear notes, during new patient complete oral exams and recalls regarding any recommended treatment or referrals from the dentist.
- Take digital radiographs, BWs, PAs, PANs and intra oral photos
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent
- Reprocess instruments and ensure operatory is up to IPAC standards
- Manage schedule with daily chart audits, checking recalls/hygiene frequencies and booking patients back in the operatory
- Support pediatric patients and assist with special needs cases when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control standards
- Contribute to a welcoming environment by delivering excellent customer service





Requirements

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing in the province Ontario
- Preferred experience with Cleardent or similar dental software
- Knowledge in general dentistry procedures and implants is an assest
- New grads are always welcome!
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work well within a team in a rapid-paced environment, as well as work individually
