We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Technologist (RDT) to join our team and support our growing in-house dental laboratory and restorative services.

The successful candidate must be currently registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario (CDTO) and authorized to practise dental technology in Ontario.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with both traditional laboratory techniques and modern digital workflows. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and manage their own cases while also working collaboratively with our dentists, clinical team and other team members to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, fabricate, finish, repair and/or alter dental restorations and appliances within the scope of practice of a Registered Dental Technologist.
- Fabricate high-quality crowns, bridges, splints, nightguards and other prescribed dental appliances.
- Perform ceramic build-up, contouring, staining, glazing and finishing to achieve excellent esthetics and function.
- Design restorations using digital dental design software and CAD/CAM technology.
- Review and accurately interpret digital scans, impressions and prescriptions to produce precise restorations.
- Ensure appropriate margins, contacts, occlusion, fit, shade and overall quality before case completion.
- Work closely with dentists and clinical team members regarding case planning, restorative requirements,



shade selection and patient-specific needs.
- Independently manage assigned laboratory cases, priorities and timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot restorative cases and provide technical input and solutions when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and organized laboratory workflows.
- Follow applicable professional standards, infection prevention and control requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful and collaborative team environment.
- Support the continued growth, quality and efficiency of our in-house dental laboratory.

Qualifications

- Current registration and good standing with the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario (CDTO) is required.
- Legally authorized to practise as a Dental Technologist in Ontario.
- Previous experience in dental technology, restorative dentistry or a dental laboratory environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with crowns, bridges, zirconia, e.max, ceramic restorations and occlusal appliances.
- Experience with ceramic layering, staining, glazing, finishing and shade matching.
- Experience with digital dentistry, CAD/CAM workflows and dental design software is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, morphology, occlusion and restorative materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.




- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also working effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with dentists, clinical team members and other staff.
