Job Summary & Requirements The Nursing Resource Unit (NRU) provides staffing support to a variety of units throughout the hospital. This position comes with a comprehensive orientation and the chance for on-going professional growth and development.

As the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you are a professional caregiver who is responsible and accountable for providing quality patient care within a delivery model in accordance with the organizational philosophy, policies and standards of care of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, the College of Nurses (CNO), and all relevant legislation.

As a qualified candidate you will have the following job requirements:

- Registered Practical Nursing Diploma or equivalent education to practice at full scope
- Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS




- Sound knowledge of nursing process and responsibilities of profession
- Functions independently within scope of practice
- Computer literacy in current software applications
