About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Remote Drilling Operations Manager to oversee their drilling projects. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage complex operations from anywhere in the world. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of drilling campaigns, leading a team of drilling engineers and supervisors. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional planning capabilities, and a deep understanding of all aspects of drilling operations in the Oil & Gas industry . The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, remote work environment and is adept at managing resources and risks virtually.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of all drilling operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Develop and manage drilling budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Lead and mentor a team of remote drilling engineers, supervisors, and other personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations , environmental policies, and industry standards.
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers, contractors, and suppliers.




- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for drilling operations and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in oil and gas drilling operations , with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex drilling projects, including offshore and unconventional resources.
- Strong understanding of well planning , rig operations, and directional drilling .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, particularly in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with drilling-related software and remote management tools.
