About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Remote Procurement Manager to lead their global procurement functions from a remote location. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing a remote team, fostering strong supplier relationships, and mitigating supply chain risks. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive global procurement strategies to align with company objectives and achieve cost optimization.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of procurement professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Oversee strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation for all key categories.
- Analyze global market trends, geopolitical risks, and commodity prices to inform strategic decisions and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Implement and maintain robust procurement policies, procedures,



and ethical standards across the organization.
- Drive innovation in procurement practices, leveraging technology and data analytics for continuous improvement.

Requirements

- 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience managing remote teams and leading global sourcing initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing complex procurement strategies and achieving significant cost savings.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, risk management, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
