Restaurant Manager – Shawarma Daddy

Shawarma Daddy is looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Sudbury location. We are looking for someone with previous restaurant management experience who can lead the team, maintain high standards of food quality and customer service, and ensure the restaurant operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service
- Supervise, train, schedule, and support restaurant staff
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service
- Monitor food preparation, portion control, and food wastage
- Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
- Coordinate ordering and receiving of food, packaging, and other supplies
- Monitor labour hours and help maintain appropriate staffing levels
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed
- Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve operational issues
- Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are maintained throughout the restaurant




- Ensure employees follow company policies, recipes, procedures, and health regulations
- Monitor cash handling, POS procedures, and daily sales
- Work closely with ownership to improve restaurant operations, sales, and profitability
- Help create a positive, skilled, and team-oriented work environment

Requirements
- Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience is required
- Strong leadership and staff-management skills
- Good understanding of restaurant operations, inventory, labour, and food-cost control
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities
- Reliable, organized, and able to take responsibility for daily restaurant operations
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Experience in quick-service restaurants (QSR), shawarma, fast food, or similar restaurant environments is an asset
