Experienced Fashion Retail Sales Associate

S.O.S Save Our Soles | Downtown Peterborough

Up to 30 hours/week | Starting at $18/hour

We’re looking for an experienced retail professional to join the team at S.O.S Save Our Soles.

This isn’t an entry-level retail position. We’re looking for someone who already understands the pace of a busy retail environment, genuinely enjoys working with customers, and knows how to turn outstanding service into great sales.

You might be a great fit if you:

- Have a minimum of 3 years of retail experience, preferably in fashion, clothing, footwear or a similar customer-focused environment
- Are confident approaching, engaging and styling customers
- Understand that great retail is about both customer experience and sales
- Can work independently and take initiative without always being given the next task
- Have strong product knowledge—or love learning about brands, fits and trends
- Are comfortable with POS systems, cash handling and day-to-day store operations
- Have an eye for merchandising and keeping a sales floor looking great
- Are dependable, positive and enjoy being part of a small,



established team
- Are available for a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

S.O.S has been part of downtown Peterborough for 20 years. We’re an independent boutique, which means our team members do much more than stand behind a cash desk. You’ll get to know our customers, help style outfits, merchandise new arrivals, learn our brands and play an important role in the day-to-day experience of the store.
