Phantom Cybernetics is a robotics startup based on the Vancouver Island, Canada. The company is working on ROS2 open-source tools and hosted observability, debugging and teleoperation service called Phantom Bridge: https://docs.phntm.io/bridge

We are also developing proprietary software and hardware products and solutions.

Responsibilities

You will be working on various research and integration projects spanning between motion planning, computer vision, mapping, navigation and human-machine collaboration based around the ROS2 ecosystem. You will work both on Human-Machine collaboration, Teleop as well as Full Autonomy using both traditional ROS2 algorithms, AI, and their combination.

Qualifications

Our working workplace is ROS2. Proficiency in ROS2 concepts, C++ and Python is essential.



Working experience with field-deployed hardware running ROS2 will be very useful. We are looking for a hacker mindset combined with industry experience and attention to detail required when shipping reliable and polished products.

This position is intended both for engineers seeking employment, and also deeper involvement in the role of a co-founder. Long-term collaborator working on per-project basis may also apply.
