4 Mile Liquor Store is a family‑owned local retailer based in Victoria, proudly serving the community for over 30 years. As part of the 4 Mile Brewpub family, we are dedicated to providing exceptional products and customer service while employing a team of 100 passionate individuals across our two liquor stores, brewery, and brewpub.

Summary

We are hiring a part‑time team member to join our busy liquor store at Colwood Corners. This position is three shifts per week, with Friday and Saturday nights required. The third weekly shift may vary based on scheduling needs, so applicants must have general evening availability. Additional hours may be available for call‑ins, sick‑day coverage, or holiday coverage. There may also be occasional opportunities to cover shifts at our Admirals location.

In this role, you will assist customers with purchases, operate the till, Lotto, stock shelves and cooler, receive shipments, and help maintain a clean, organized store. This is a hands‑on position requiring excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move inventory safely.

Requirements

- Minimum one year of retail experience
- Valid Serving It Right certificate
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Cash‑handling experience and basic math skills




- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort in a fast‑paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and secure workspace
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Comfortable unloading shipments and using equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and carts
- Ability to safely use ladders
- Awareness of loss‑prevention practices (asset)
- Product knowledge of liquor (asset)
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Must be bondable

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
