About the Opportunity

GTD Supply is growing, and we're expanding our team with new positions to support our continued growth across Canada and the United States.

We are looking for a motivated, outgoing individual who wants to build a long-term career in sales and business development within the construction and building materials industry.

This is a hands-on training and development position where you'll work closely with an experienced sales manager, learn our products and sales process, and gradually take on your own customers and accounts.

You'll work with contractors, builders, installers, renovation companies, retailers, and other business customers across Canada and the U.S. Access to the U.S. market is a major advantage of this role, offering a much larger customer base and greater long-term sales and earning potential.

Previous construction sales experience is an asset, but not required. We're looking for someone who is ambitious, personable, dependable, and eager to learn.

Compensation

- Guaranteed minimum annual compensation: $36,400
- Hourly pay plus commission
- Target On-Track Earnings (OTE) once fully trained: approximately $84,000 annually
- Additional earning potential as your sales and customer base grow

Your training period is designed to build the product knowledge, sales skills, and customer experience needed to reach your full earning potential.

What You'll Do

- Train directly with an experienced sales manager while learning our products, customers, and sales process.
- Develop new business and build relationships with contractors, builders, installers, retailers, and other business customers.
- Connect with customers across Canada and the U.S. through phone, email,



online communication, and in-person meetings.
- Follow up with leads, prepare quotes, recommend products, and identify new sales opportunities.
- Grow existing accounts while working toward individual sales goals and gradually taking on larger opportunities.

What We're Looking For

- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with recent people.
- Motivated by sales, business growth, and earning potential.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and willing to learn.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, construction, renovation, or building materials is an asset, but not required.
- A valid driver's licence is required, along with flexibility for occasional customer visits, meetings, and trade events.
