Starting in the 1940s, the Macartney family has grown their small farming business to become the single largest egg and produce distributor in Ottawa. With a business spanning across 5 generations, Macartney’s LTD imports and provides the best produce, meat, and dairy products available for delivery.
Our services cater to restaurants, grocery stores, and more throughout Ottawa and parts of Quebec, with next day delivery and a commitment to quality service.
Are you a driven, people‑focused professional with a passion for food and building strong business relationships? Our growing food company is looking for an energetic Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our presence in the market.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with grocery stores, restaurants, distributors, and retail partners
- Identify new sales opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Present and promote our product line with confidence and enthusiasm
- Track sales performance and meet monthly/quarterly targets
- Provide market feedback to help shape product and marketing strategies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in food sales, or related industries (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region
- A genuine passion for food and customer service
- Bilingual /Multilingual preferred
