Join our vibrant bakery team as a Seasonal Baker and bring joy to our community through freshly baked delights! As a Seasonal Baker, you will be at the heart of our bakery operations, creating beautiful cakes, delicious baked goods, and ensuring every product meets our high standards for quality and safety.

If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and love working with food, this is your chance to shine during our busy seasonal periods! We are looking for someone that is available 40 hours a week, shifts varying Monday-Saturday with a 5:00 AM Start time, this is a seasonal position with work available now though until February 2027.

Duties

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including square, cupcakes, cakes, and cookies, following established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision using cake decorating techniques to create visually appealing products
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients for daily production needs
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer takeout while maintaining presentation quality




- Support the team during peak hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently and providing excellent customer service when interacting with shoppers
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of stock needs or shortages

Requirements

- Previous experience in baking, cake decorating, or working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail for accurate food handling, decoration, and packaging processes
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- Kitchen experience involving food handling, baking, or culinary arts will be advantageous
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout all bakery operations
