JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY
- To maximize sales, have strong customer service skills, know cash handling, merchandising, computer pos skills and enjoy the product being sold.
- Helping to identify customer needs while providing suggestions and recommendations where appropriate.
- Providing accurate information (product features, accessories included, pricing, sales, etc).
- Ensuring that store racks and shelves are populated and coordinated with the proper merchandise.
- Assisting with intake of shipments and proper pricing of items received.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operation of POS and cash handling.
- Contributing to the reduction of external and internal theft through awareness.
- Providing exceptional customer service through all phases of the interaction.
- Inventory of products.
- Daily cleaning, general housekeeping (store floor, items in appropriate packaging, employee area, inventory control). Adherence to store cleanliness policies.





REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of retail experience (POS, merchandising, customer experience).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Cash handling.
- Customer service.
- Inventory control.
- Merchandising.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Extended hours of standing.
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environment.
