Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to security system installations.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of security systems including CCTV cameras, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors, and telecommunication equipment.
- Perform electrical wiring and low voltage connections adhering to safety standards and electrical codes.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to mount hardware, run cabling, and configure system components.
- Conduct system testing to ensure optimal operation of security devices such as sensors, alarms, and access controls.
- Collaborate with construction teams during recent builds or renovations to integrate security systems seamlessly into building infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, system configurations, and service reports for client records and future reference.

Qualifications

- Proven experience reading blueprints, schematics,



and construction drawings related to security or electrical systems.
- Strong construction background with familiarity in working on building sites or renovation projects.
- Knowledge of computer hardware setup and networking principles essential for configuring integrated security systems.
- Electrical experience including wiring low voltage systems safely and effectively.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, surveillance equipment troubleshooting, and sensor integration.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to mounting hardware and adjusting system components for optimal performance.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Understanding of telecommunication wiring practices and schematics for system connectivity.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
