We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accounting & Finance Analyst to join our team for a six-month contract. This is not a traditional accounting role. You will play a key role in transforming finance operations, improving systems and processes, supporting tax and compliance initiatives, enhancing reporting capabilities, and helping drive automation across the organization.

What You'll Be Working On

You will work directly with the Director of Internal Operations and collaborate across Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, and external advisors to:

- Improve financial reporting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and executive reporting
- Support billing accuracy, revenue operations, and invoice reconciliation
- Help redesign quote-to-cash, procurement, and margin management processes
- Support U.S. and Canadian tax compliance projects and filings
- Develop accounting policies, controls, and standard operating procedures
- Assist with finance system implementations and payment platform transitions
- Build and implement finance automation and AI-enabled workflows
- Support M&A; activities, chart of accounts redesign, and financial integrations
- Assist with year-end audits, reconciliations, and financial reporting initiatives

What We are Looking For





We're looking for someone who thrives in a rapid-paced environment and enjoys solving complex operational challenges.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Experience working with both Canadian and U.S. entities is an asset
- Knowledge of corporate tax, sales tax, and nexus requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal oversight
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA is considered an asset

Bonus Points For:

- Experience with ConnectWise or similar PSA/billing platforms
- Experience with Rippling or other HRIS systems
- Exposure to finance process automation, AI tools, or accounting system integrations
- M&A; accounting or post-acquisition integration experience
