About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and innovative Senior Automotive Software Engineer to join their globally distributed, remote-first engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated software solutions for next-generation vehicles, focusing on areas such as autonomous driving systems, infotainment, and vehicle connectivity. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and test robust software for automotive embedded systems, including real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Architect scalable and maintainable software solutions for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment, and connectivity platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and product managers, to define software requirements.




- Implement and optimize algorithms for complex automotive applications, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews, participate in design discussions, and mentor junior engineers in a remote environment .

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development for the automotive industry.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with Python scripting.
- Deep understanding of automotive software architectures , communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet), and AUTOSAR.
- Experience with software development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
