Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the continued growth of its Mining & Industrial practice across Ontario. This individual will serve as both a technical leader and client-facing consultant, helping deliver complex industrial and mining projects while supporting the expansion of the electrical group.

The ideal candidate is a "seller-doer" with strong electrical engineering expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to develop lasting client relationships. This role offers a unique prospect to help grow a strategic business unit with a potential path toward future Department Manager leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering design for mining and industrial projects.

Perform And Review

- Power system studies
- Load flow studies
- Short-circuit analysis
- Arc flash studies
- Protection and coordination studies
- Support medium- and high-voltage power distribution systems.
- Manage project deliverables, schedules, and client communication.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Support proposal development and business growth initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.




- Act as a trusted advisor to mining and industrial clients.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- 10-15+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
- Industrial project experience: Mining (ideal)
- Experience with power systems engineering and electrical studies
- Familiarity with MV/HV electrical systems
- Client-facing and project management experience

Consulting Engineering Experience Strongly Preferred

- Ability to operate as a "seller-doer" (technical delivery + business development)
- Location in GTA or Sudbury (or willing to relocate)

Disqualifiers

- Pure automation/instrumentation experience
- Commercial building electrical experience only
- No client-facing experience
- No interest in business development

This is a Permanent position based out of Etobicoke, ON.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $170000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Workplace Type

This is a hybrid position in Etobicoke,ON.
