Now Hiring: Senior EMC Engineer – Aerospace

Location: Dorval, QC, Canada

Role: Professional Senior, Engineering – Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)

We are seeking an experienced EMC Engineering professional to join an aerospace engineering team supporting aircraft certification, safety, production, and in-service activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead EMC activities covering EMI, HIRF, LIRF, Lightning & ESD
- Perform EMC analysis, simulations, and qualification/certification assessments
- Support aircraft-level EMC testing and certification activities
- Review test procedures, reports, and compliance documentation
- Assess aircraft systems and structures for EMC compliance
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers, and customers

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, or Physics
- 8+ years of EMC experience
- 4+ years of aerospace EMC qualification/certification experience
- Knowledge of RTCA DO-160 and SAE ARP standards
- Familiarity with FAA, TCCA & EASA regulations
- Solid engineering, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Aerospace industry experience preferred
- French language skills are an asset
