Position Summary

Within the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, you will join the Fund Accounting team, responsible for the accounting of funds and Soparfi (holding companies).

Your responsibilities as an Accountant will include:

- Contributing to the onboarding of new clients and analyzing their activities,
- Recording transactions relating to the setup or takeover of new files,
- Analyzing and monitoring the creation of related companies and intermediate structures,
- Maintaining the general accounting of commercial companies or Luxembourg investment funds (Lux GAAP or IFRS),
- Calculating and recording various specific fees (performance, management, advisory, arrangement, etc.),




- Preparing the financial statements required for each file (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, etc.),
- Preparing consolidated financial statements where applicable (IFRS or Lux GAAP),
- Assisting in relations with the client, auditors and tax advisers during the review of the accounts,
- Mastering the accounting system and contributing to its configuration.

Experience requirements

- Investment accounting experience - working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
- Bachelor and/or master's degree in accounting (or Audit).
- Strong computer skills, and specifically Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to process and apply new skills and concepts quickly
- Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven experience in funds accounting/pricing/client reporting within Financial markets.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of fund products, fund accounting and systems and regulations.
- Relevant experience in the fields of alternative investment fund administration (or audit firms)
