This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Analyst based in Canada.

This role sits within a data team and focuses on using product analytics and experimentation to improve how product decisions are made. You will own measurement strategies, evaluate user behavior, and establish rigorous approaches to experimentation across the product. Working closely with Growth, Product, Engineering, and data peers, you will help identify opportunities that influence conversion, retention, and overall product performance.

The role combines advanced statistical analysis with hands-on SQL, analytics engineering, and business partnership. You will have significant autonomy to investigate complex questions, automate workflows, and turn ambiguous problems into actionable recommendations. Accountabilities:

- Own the design and analysis of A/B tests, partnering with Product Managers to interpret results, develop conclusions, and make actionable recommendations.
- Partner with Growth teams across the full experimentation cycle, from generating and prioritizing ideas and sizing opportunities through experiment design, analysis, and applying learnings to future initiatives.
- Analyze user behavior and investigate anomalies to understand changes in product and business performance.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams on upcoming feature launches by defining measurement strategies, establishing success metrics, and ensuring appropriate tracking events are implemented.
- Provide data-driven insights that inform product and broader business decisions and communicate findings effectively to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Automate recurring analytical workflows while maintaining the quality and depth of insights.
- Build new datasets and data pipelines while maintaining and improving existing data infrastructure.




- Contribute to a culture of rigorous experimentation, thoughtful analysis, and continuous learning across product and growth teams.

- Apply AI tools and workflows to accelerate analysis and improve productivity while exercising appropriate judgment around accuracy and potential errors.

Requirements:

- At least 4 years of experience in product analytics or a closely related analytical role, preferably within a growth-stage company.
- Advanced knowledge of statistical methodologies for A/B testing, including experiment design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results.

- Expert-level SQL skills, including creating tables, using advanced features such as window functions, and writing clear, efficient, and maintainable queries.
- Experience working with a modern analytics and experimentation stack. Relevant tools include Amplitude, Statsig, Snowflake, dbt, Hex, and Omni.

- Strong curiosity and comfort working with ambiguity, with the ability to balance analytical rigor, speed, and practical business needs.
- Ability to translate technical requirements and analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts, analytical approaches, and potential roadblocks to varied audiences.

- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Growth, Engineering, and Data teams.
- Strong AI fluency, including practical experience using AI tools to accelerate analytical workflows and the judgment to recognize when AI-generated outputs may introduce errors.




- Experience with consumer subscription analytics is a plus.

- Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment is a plus.
