About Gator**

Gator Construction Group self-performs concrete restoration, protection, and construction for owners and operators of critical infrastructure across Western Canada and the Northern Territories. Our crews maintain operating assets, restore deteriorating ones, and replace them with new construction at end of service life.

We've completed over 4,000 projects since 2013, with approximately 175 people working out of Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Winnipeg. Recent work includes parkade rehabilitation at the University of Alberta and Alberta Children's Hospital, the Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant, Barrier Lake Dam, and structural repairs inside operating plants for JBS and West Coast Reduction.

The role

We're hiring a Project Coordinator with at least five years of experience to work alongside our project managers, superintendents, and foremen out of our Calgary office.

A lot of our work happens in live environments: parkades that stay open to the public, hospitals that keep running, and plants that keep operating while we work. That means tight sequencing and a lot of people who need the right information at the right time. You keep the schedule, paperwork, and communication moving so our crews can focus on the work. We want someone who takes ownership. You follow up without being asked, chase down answers, and flag problems early.

What you'll do

- Track schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and keep the PM ahead of what's due.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries with site supervision.
- Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports, and site documentation for owners, consultants, and the Engineer of Record.
- Support progress billing, cost tracking, and purchase orders.
- Maintain safety and quality documentation with the site team.




- Assemble closeout packages, warranties, and as-built documentation.
- Get out to site regularly and see the work firsthand.

What you bring

- Five or more years as a Project Coordinator in commercial, civil, industrial, or restoration construction in Canada with a focus on Alberta construction deemed an asset.
- Clear, direct communication with clients, consultants, trades, and field crews, in writing and on the phone.
- Strong organization across multiple active projects at once.
- Working knowledge of drawings, specifications, submittals, and contracts.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills. Experience with construction project management software is an asset.
- A construction management diploma or degree is an asset.
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to sites.
