Your impact

At Jacobs, we're helping our clients deliver some of the most significant transportation infrastructure investments in British Columbia. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the delivery of major transportation infrastructure projects and program workstreams while ensuring alignment with client objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.

In this role you will

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex transportation and infrastructure projects
- Provide oversight of project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder management activities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, environmental, construction, commercial, and project controls disciplines
- Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, agencies, and other project stakeholders
- Facilitate issue resolution and support timely project decision-making
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
- Lead project meetings, workshops, and governance activities
- Prepare executive presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership and client stakeholders
- Support procurement, contract management, change management, and project controls activities
- Mentor and support project management staff while fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and delivery excellence
- Contribute to business growth through strong client relationships and successful project outcomes.

Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline




- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience delivering major infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex transportation, transit, highway, bridge, rail, or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of project management principles, project controls, risk management, schedule management, and cost management
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a quick-paced project environment.

Ideally, you'll also have

- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or other relevant professional certification
- PMP certification
- Experience working in an owner's representative, program management, consulting, or infrastructure delivery environment
- Experience supporting public sector transportation and infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with alternative delivery models such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMGC, or Alliance delivery.

Posted Salary Range Upper

220,500.00

The base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $220,500.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
