Our Markham office is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on a diverse portfolio with an emphasis on commercial, retail, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will be a team player, enthusiastic, proactive, hardworking, and capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects. In addition, the successful candidate will be interested in playing a key role in the growth of the firm and help us rise to the challenges of next decades.

Qualifications

- Professional Degree in Architecture, architectural science, or architectural technology.
- 20 plus years of relevant project experience in the commercial/retail and industrial sectors




- Knowledge of current Building Codes, standards, building construction, details and building science
- Ability to supervise production of several projects simultaneously, while leading and working within a team workplace
- Comfortable dealing with project stakeholders, from consultants to contractors to AHJ to clients and upper management
- Thrive in a high-pace environment and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office

Duties

- Coordinate within the project team
- Meet with clients to discuss project requirements
- Review and approve project shop drawings, meet & coordinate with sub-consultants
- Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress, provide site design review updates
- Conduct contract administration
- Review working drawings & permit sets and coordinate with sub-consultants as needed
- Resolve issues on site related to construction and coordination challenges, answer RFI’s provide additional instruction to site
- Prepare occasional design sketches and 3D designs
- Liaise with project stakeholders
