Systematix is currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major SAP Modernization Program for our public-sector client in Nova Scotia.

This engagement will support the People and Payroll phase of a multi-year SAP transformation program focused on significant business process change, implementation of new SAP applications, and migration of SAP applications to the cloud. The successful consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, subject matter experts, external partners, and the System Integrator across requirements, process analysis, data, testing, change readiness, cutover, and implementation activities.

LOCATION & WORK HOURS

Location: Hybrid - Halifax, Nova Scotia

Onsite Requirement: Minimum 2 days per week onsite, Halifax. Periods of full time onsite work may be required based on project timelines and testing activities.

Work Hours: Full-time, aligned with client business hours

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will support the People and Payroll transformation from its current discovery and planning activities through design, configuration, testing, organizational readiness, deployment, cutover, and hypercare.

You will help establish and validate business processes and requirements while developing the foundational project artifacts required for successful SAP implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan and facilitate discovery, analysis, and validation sessions
- Elicit, analyze,



document, and validate business requirements and processes
- Document business rules, decisions, actions, and requirements traceability
- Analyze issues, options, impacts, dependencies, volumes, and stakeholder needs
- Prepare recommendations, governance materials, and decision records
- Support data-quality assessment, remediation tracking, and conversion validation
- Develop test scenarios and cases and support evidence gathering and defect analysis
- Support change-impact, business readiness, cutover, and hypercare activities
- Identify and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and status
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and external partners
- Maintain project artifacts and documentation using established program standards
- Support knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting large-scale business transformation, ERP, or technology implementation projects
- Strong experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements and processes
- Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops,



interviews, and stakeholder working sessions
- Experience developing requirements, process models, business rules, decision logs, and traceability documentation
- Experience working within structured project delivery methodologies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Experience with business analysis, process mapping, requirements management, documentation management, or project delivery tools
- Strong communication, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with SAP ERP, SAP SuccessFactors, or other large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
- Public-sector experience
- Experience with business process modelling, requirements management, testing, and project delivery tools
- Knowledge of organizational change management, business readiness, training, or stakeholder engagement
- Experience supporting solution design, testing, data migration, and implementation activities with System Integrators or external vendors
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent Business Analysis/project delivery certification

PAY DISCLOSURE

- Senior Business Analyst: $90-$105/hour
