Position: Senior ServiceNow Developer

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Candidate is required to come to the office 5 days a week.

Role Overview The Sr. Software Developer will design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities. The role is required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.

This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining applications, and conducting unit tests. The role also resolves and troubleshoots technical problems that arise during the use and operation of software packages, including providing technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines through extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
- Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
- Develop detailed programming specifications.
- Write and/or generate code.
- Compile data-driven programs.
- Maintain applications and conduct unit testing.
- Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems arising during the use and operation of software packages.
- Provide technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migrations.
- Provide operational support, deployment coordination, change management, and documentation as required for development or administration-related ServiceNow work.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements ServiceNow Development - 40%

- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer.
- Experience developing custom applications, workflows, integrations, automation solutions, and platform enhancements.




- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/DevOps methodologies, testing, deployment, and code management practices.
- Ability to design, develop, support, and continuously improve scalable ServiceNow solutions that meet business and operational requirements.

ServiceNow Architecture, Strategy & Roadmap - 30%

- 5+ years of ServiceNow platform experience, including 3-5 years in solution architecture and platform governance roles.
- Demonstrated experience developing ServiceNow roadmaps, architecture standards, and platform modernization strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, CSDM, CMDB, integrations, data models, security, and governance.
- Experience leading solution design, architecture reviews, technical governance, and platform transformation initiatives.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable, and future-state ServiceNow solutions.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow AI, Automation Engine, Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, and emerging platform capabilities.

ServiceNow System Administration - 30%

- 5+ years of experience administering ServiceNow in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience managing platform upgrades, patching, release management, cloning, security, and instance health.
- Strong knowledge of user administration, roles, groups, access controls, system configuration, and platform governance.
- Experience ensuring platform availability, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.

Must-Haves





- Development experience with ServiceNow portals and Customer Service Management (CSM).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR).

Certifications Preferred

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM, ITOM, Security Operations, IRM, or equivalent.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) considered a solid asset.
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher certification.
