Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Designer with extensive experience in backend development, enterprise integration, Java/JEE technologies, and cloud-based integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise designing complex integration solutions and leading technical teams in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in backend design and development using REST Web Services, Java/JEE, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases.
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Integration Architecture, including integration patterns, design principles, best practices, APIs, middleware, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.
- Extensive experience with Spring Framework, particularly Spring Integration, including designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions.
- Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and/or MuleSoft, with strong knowledge of message-oriented middleware and ESB solutions.
- Experience with JMS, AMQP, REST, APIs, Message Queues, and related integration technologies, including their implementation within Azure integration environments.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, data modelling, SQL/PL/SQL,



and integration with enterprise databases.
- Experience designing cloud-based integration solutions, highly available and mission-critical applications, and complex enterprise systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, including requirements analysis, use cases, UML, JEE, Service Bus, ETL, solution prototyping, and technical documentation.
- Proven experience leading developers / technical teams, facilitating discussions with both technical and business stakeholders, and delivering solutions within deadlines.
- Previous Public Sector experience and familiarity with OPS Enterprise Architecture standards, documentation artifacts, templates, policies, and best practices will be considered an asset.
