Status: Permanent, Full-Time Position The Role

Our client, a recognized organization in the energy and electrical infrastructure sector, is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to strengthen its technical team. You will play a key role in the design, analysis, and execution of high-voltage transmission line projects, working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

- Design and analyze overhead and underground transmission lines (structures, conductors, foundations)
- Conduct mechanical and electrical load studies according to applicable standards (CSA, IEEE, NESC)
- Supervise and review plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and environmental engineering teams
- Provide site supervision and technical support during construction




- Mentor and supervise junior engineers on the team
- Participate in client and regulatory relations

Profile

Desired

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in transmission line design
- Proficiency in specialized software
- Excellent communication skills
- Bilingualism (French/English)
