(Fulltime/ PartTime) We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our current opening asian-style restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer relations within a fast-paced workplace.

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations




- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of our washroom

Skills

- Experience with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, including serving and food preparation roles
- Familiarity with hospitality principles and guest services standards
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism

Pay: From $16.35 per hour
