Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, explaining daily specials and answering questions about menu items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring explicit communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience while increasing sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting the culinary team during busy periods




- Provide excellent guest services by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or food preparation is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
- A background in hospitality or restaurant environments will support your success in this energetic role
