Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure guest needs are met by checking in regularly and responding promptly to requests or concerns
- Assist with food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service




- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including table setup, clearing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering tasks
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, cash handling, and transaction processing
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Previous restaurant experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
