Position Summary The SharePoint / Power Platform Technical Specialist plays a key role in advancingdigital workplace strategy. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), and Microsoft Teams/OneDrive. The role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, governance, and automation frameworks to support departmental collaboration, data integrity, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and deployment of SharePoint Online sites, Teams channels, and Power Platform solutions across departments.

- Develop and maintain scalable Power Automate flows and Power Apps to streamline business processes.

- Design Power BI data models and build reports and dashboards that connect to Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SharePoint and third-party or line-of-business systems, including usage, adoption and compliance reporting.

- Collaborate with departments to consolidate legacy systems into Microsoft 365 environments.

- Design and implement information architecture, metadata strategies, and permission models for SharePoint and Teams.

- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentorship to IT staff and service desk teams.

- Conduct training sessions for end-users and site owners, including SharePoint and Power Platform workshops.

- Develop usage, adoption, and compliance related reports using Power BI dashboards and Microsoft 365 analytics.





- Participate in cross-functional project teams and contribute to strategic planning for digital services.

- Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform development.

- Proven experience building Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate cloud flows and Power BI reports, including DAX, Power Query and data modelling.

- Working knowledge of Dataverse, including its security model, and of Power Platform limits (e.g., delegation, throttling, list view thresholds).

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID.

- Experience with data migration, governance, and lifecycle management in enterprise environments.

- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, JSON) and REST APIs for automation and integration.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview (sensitivity labels, retention, DLP, audit)

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-300,PL-400, MS-600, SC-300) are considered assets.
