Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sheetmetal Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal components used in a variety of building systems, including HVAC, ventilation, and architectural features. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet safety standards, quality expectations, and precise specifications.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate sheet metal components
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
- Install ductwork, vents, flashing, and other sheet metal assemblies on construction sites with precision and safety in mind
- Use welding techniques to join metal parts when required for structural integrity or custom fabrication
- Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes seamlessly
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing sheet metal structures during restoration or renovation projects




- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards throughout every phase of the project

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and measuring tapes for accurate fabrication and installation
- Construction experience with a focus on sheet metal work or related trades like carpentry or plumbing
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide fabrication and installation tasks
- Knowledge of drywall installation, caulking techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, and construction painting for versatile project support
- Experience with welding techniques necessary for joining sheet metal components securely
- Familiarity with restoration projects requiring careful handling of existing structures
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites and metalworking environments
