The Production Shipper is responsible for the safe and efficient packaging, handling, scanning, and preparation of finished products for shipment. This role works closely with the production and shipping teams to ensure products are properly packaged, protected, and staged for outbound shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Package finished products according to established quality and packaging standards.
- Safely handle and prepare products for shipment, particularly fragile items such as glass.
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure they are properly secured and protected before shipment.
- Label, scan, and stage finished products for outbound shipment.
- Safely operate a forklift to move racks of glass and finished products within the facility.
- Load and prepare finished products for shipment in coordination with the shipping and production teams.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure products are packaged and ready for shipment efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.




- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and practices at all times.
- Ensure proper handling of products to minimize damage, breakage, and waste.
- Assist with other production and shipping-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months of experience in shipping, production, manufacturing, warehousing, or a related field.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required, with at least one year of forklift operating experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to safely handle and move products throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move 35–50 pounds consistently throughout shifts as needed.
- Experience with skid steer is an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong dedication to maintaining quality, efficiency, and protected handling practices.
