Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Motor and Generator technician and shop labourer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the overall operations of our projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely, contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities

- Cleaning and prepping various service equipment and parts, motors
- Painting and priming parts
- Assembly and testing of motors and standby generators
- In office residential generator services (oil and filter changes)
- Perform physical labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on site

Skills





- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work well in a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality work and adherence to safety standards.
- Familiarity with computers and computer programs.
- Punctuality and robust work ethic.
- Valid drivers license.
