Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Shop Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations and ensure seamless production processes. Responsibilities

- Supervise daily shop floor operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage inventory levels, material flow, and delivery schedules using ERP systems such as SAP
- Oversee assembly processes, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and technical specifications
- Implement process improvements through lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies
- Monitor manufacturing performance metrics, analyze data from MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems, and identify opportunities for optimization
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical issues, leveraging mechanical knowledge to resolve equipment or process problems swiftly




- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and quality throughout the shop environment

Requirements

- Proven experience in manufacturing supervision or shop floor management with a focus on process optimization
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and assembly issues effectively
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules for inventory and production planning
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding of supply chain dynamics within a manufacturing context
- Experience in quality control practices to ensure product standards are consistently met
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration
