Site Superintendent – Interior Construction

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year

Location: GTA, Ontario A reputable General Contractor specializing in interior institutional projects is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee upcoming school renovation and fit-out projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and coordinating trades and schedules to deliver projects efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and hands-on experience running interior or renovation-type builds within the institutional or educational sector.

Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day site operations for interior institutional (school) projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and materials to maintain project timelines
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code and company standards
- Conduct quality checks and maintain a clean, organized site




- Collaborate with the Project Manager on scheduling, documentation, and issue resolution

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent on interior or institutional renovation projects
- Proven track record managing school or similar public‑sector interiors
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and scheduling skills
- Solid understanding of Ontario Building Code and construction safety requirements
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the West GTA region
