Khataw Development Ltd is looking for an experienced construction labourer to join our team.

This is a full-time position. Monday to Friday with some Saturdays available during busier times.

Responsibilities

- Assist with site preparation, including clearing and organizing materials for efficient workflow
- Perform general construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials safely and accurately
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary materials and assistance during various phases of construction or renovation projects
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and productivity
- Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing protective gear and reporting hazards immediately
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Experience We build recent residential homes, single family, duplexes and townhomes. We are looking for someone to join the team who has previous construction experience and is a fast learner,



an excellent communicator and very organized with the ability to work independently or with the team. Previous experience with tools, landscaping and heavy equipment are an asset.

We have projects located in Langford, Victoria and surrounding areas. You will need a vehicle to get to the various job sites. Please don't apply if you do not have a vehicle.

Duties will include keeping the sites tidy, garbage cleanup, material pick up and landscaping duties to start with, adding more based on capabilities. Pay is $23 per hour.

We are looking for someone who lives in the area, please don't apply if you do not already have housing in the Victoria or surrounding areas lined up.

Medical and Dental benefits are offered after 3 months. 50% paid by Khataw and 50% paid by employee if they opt in.
